၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် အောက်တိုဘာလ ၁၅ ရက်မှ ၁၆ ရက်အထိ ယူဂန်ဒါနိုင်ငံ၊ ကမ်ပါလာမြို့၌ ကျင်းပသည့် ဘက်မလိုက်လှုပ်ရှားမှုအဖွဲ့ (Non-aligned Movement- NAM) ၏ နိုင်ငံခြားရေး ဝန်ကြီးများအစည်းအဝေးသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့သည့် ခရီးစဉ်အတွင်း နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးသန်းဆွေသည် မိုဇမ်ဘစ်၊ အီရန်၊ ဘယ်လာရုစ်၊ ကျူးဘား၊ ယူဂန်ဒါ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးများ နှင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ် နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန အကြံပေးပုဂ္ဂိုလ်၊ အီတလီနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ နီကာရာဂွါ သံအမတ်ကြီးတို့နှင့်လည်းကောင်း သီးခြားတွေ့ဆုံကာ နှစ်နိုင်ငံချစ်ကြည်ရေးကိစ္စရပ်များ ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့သည်။
ထို့ပြင် မြန်မာကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ကမ်ပါလာမြို့ရှိ ယူဂန်ဒါဗုဒ္ဓစင်တာ (Uganda Buddhist Centre) သို့ သွားရောက်ကာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ ပင့်ဆောင်လာသော ဗုဒ္ဓ မြတ်စွယ်တော် ပွားကို ဆပ်ကပ်လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ပြီး စင်တာရှိ ရဟန်းသံဃာများ၊ ရှင်သာမဏေများနှင့် သီလရှင်များအတွက် သင်္ကန်းပရိက္ခရာများ၊ ဆွမ်းခဲဖွယ်များနှင့် ပညာရေး၊ လူမှုရေးလုပ်ငန်း များ ဆက်လက် ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရန် နဝကမ္မ အလှူငွေလှူဒါန်းခြင်းတို့ကို ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့သည်။
၂၀၀၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ ဆရာတော်ကြီးများ၏ လမ်းညွှန်မှုဖြင့် ယူဂန်ဒါနိုင်ငံသား ဆရာတော် Bhante Buddharakkita မှ ဦးဆောင်ကာ အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုမှ ဒကာ၊ ဒကာမများ၏ ပံ့ပိုးမှုဖြင့် ယူဂန်ဒါ ဗုဒ္ဓစင်တာကို စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် နက်ရှိုင်းသော ဆက်ဆံရေးလည်း ရှိပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ စင်တာသည် အာဖရိက တိုက်တွင် ဗုဒ္ဓဓမ္မများပြန့်ပွားရေး၏ အဓိကကျသော ဗဟိုဌာနတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ရပ်တည်လျက် ရှိပြီး ဘာသာရေး လုပ်ငန်းများအပြင် ဒေသခံများအတွက် ပညာရေး၊ ကျန်းမာရေးနှင့် လူမှုရေး ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကို ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးလျက်ရှိပါသည်။ ယခုအခါ အာဖရိကဗုဒ္ဓကောလိပ် (Africa Buddhist College- ABC) အဖြစ် ဖွင့်လှစ်ရန် ပြင်ဆင်လျက်ရှိသည်။ လက်ရှိတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ ဆရာတော်တစ်ပါးနှင့် သီလရှင် (၂) ပါးတို့သည် Uganda Buddhist Centre တွင် သာသနာပြုလုပ်ငန်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။ Uganda Buddhist Centre တွင် စာပေသင်ယူလျက်ရှိသည့် ရှင်သာမဏေနှင့် သီလရှင် စုစုပေါင်း အပါး (၇၀) နီးပါးရှိကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။
ဤခရီးစဉ်သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ နိုင်ငံတကာဆက်ဆံရေး မြှင့်တင်ရေးအတွက် မဟာဗျူဟာမြောက် ခြေလှမ်းတစ်ရပ်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဘက်မလိုက်လှုပ်ရှားမှုအဖွဲ့ မျက်နှာစာတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ တက်ကြွသောပါဝင်မှုနှင့် ကမ္ဘာ့ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ ရည်မှန်းချက်များအား အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ရန်အတွက် နိုင်ငံတော်၏ ခိုင်မြဲသော ကတိကဝတ် နှင့် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ကြိုးပမ်းအားထုတ်မှုကို ထင်ဟပ်ပြသနေခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်သည်။
နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးသန်းဆွေ ခေါင်းဆောင်သည့် မြန်မာ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ယမန်နေ့ ညနေပိုင်းတွင် လေကြောင်းခရီးဖြင့် ရန်ကုန်မြို့သို့ ပြန်လည် ရောက်ရှိသည်။

Myanmar Delegation arrives back from attending the Ministerial Meeting of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM)

While in Kampala, Uganda, for the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Ministerial Meeting held on 15-16 October 2025, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe held bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers from the Republic of Mozambique, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Cuba, as well as the Foreign Affairs Advisor of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Republic of Italy.
In addition, the Myanmar Delegation visited the Uganda Buddhist Centre in Kampala. They offered a replica of sacred Buddha relic brought from Myanmar and donated robes, Burmese traditional food, monastic necessities, and financial support. This contribution will aid the centre’s ongoing educational and social welfare activities for its monks, novices, and nuns.
The Uganda Buddhist Centre has a strong connection to Myanmar. It was established in 2005 by Ugandan Venerable Bhante Buddharakkita under the guidance of Myanmar Venerable Sayadaws and with the financial support from donors in the United States. It serves as a key hub for sharing the Buddha Dhamma in Africa. In addition to its religious mission, the centre also offers education, healthcare and social services to the local community. Today, it is preparing to launch the Africa Buddhist College (ABC). The center’s connection to Myanmar remains active, with one Myanmar venerable monk and two nuns currently engaged in missionary work there. Furthermore, it is reported that there are nearly 70 Uganda novices and nuns in total attending the centre.
This visit marks a strategic milestone in advancing Myanmar’s international relations. Myanmar’s active participation in the NAM platform, along with its support for the Uganda Buddhist Center, stands as a clear testament to the Country’s strong commitment and unwavering efforts toward global peace and development.
The Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, arrived back in Myanmar yesterday evening.
