ချုံချင့်မြို့ မြန်မာကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ်ရုံးမှ ကောင်စစ်ဝန်ချုပ် ဦးကျော်ဇေယျာလင်းသည် ရန်ကုန်မြို့တော်ဝန် ဦးမျိုးမြင့်အောင် ဦးဆောင်သော ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့နှင့်အတူ တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၊ ဟူပေပြည်နယ်၊ ဝူဟန်မြို့၌ ၂၀-၉-၂၀၂၆ ရက်တွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် ၂၀၂၆ ဝူဟန်မြို့ နိုင်ငံတကာချစ်ကြည်ရေးမြို့များ၏ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးညီလာခံ၊ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ မြို့တော်ဝန်များ တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲ-ဝူဟန်နှင့် ရန်ကုန်မြို့နှင့် ဝူဟန်မြို့တို့အကြား ညီအစ်မမြို့တော် ဆက်ဆံရေးထူထောင်သည့် သဘောတူညီချက် (Letter of Intent) လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးပွဲအခမ်းအနားသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါ ညီလာခံဖွင့်ပွဲအခမ်းအနားတွင် တရုတ်ကွန်မြူနစ်ပါတီ ဟူပေပြည်နယ်ကော်မတီ အမြဲတမ်းအဖွဲ့ဝင်နှင့် ဝူဟန်ပါတီကော်မတီ အတွင်းရေးမှူး မစ္စတာ Sheng Yuechun၊ အင်္ဂလန်နိုင်ငံ မန်ချက်စတာမြို့တော်ဝန် မစ္စတာ Shaukat Ali၊ ကမ္ဘာ့မဟာမြို့ကြီးများအသင်း (World Association of the Major Metropolises) အထွေထွေအတွင်းရေးမှူး မစ္စတာ Jordi Vaquer၊ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသဆိုင်ရာမြို့များနှင့် ဒေသန္တရအစိုးရများအဖွဲ့ အထွေထွေအတွင်းရေးမှူး မစ္စ Bernadia Irawati Tjandradewi တို့မှ အဖွင့်အမှာစကားများ အသီးသီးပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါ အခမ်းအနားနှင့် တစ်ဆက်တည်းကျင်းပသည့် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ မြို့တော်ဝန်များ တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲတွင် နည်းပညာဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှုမှတစ်ဆင့် မြို့ပြဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုကို မြှင့်တင်ခြင်း၊ စက်မှုလက်မှု ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုမှတစ်ဆင့် မြို့ပြပွင့်လင်းမြင်သာမှုကို တိုးချဲ့ခြင်းနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဖလှယ်ခြင်းမှတစ်ဆင့် လူနေမှုဘဝအရည်အသွေးကို မြှင့်တင်ခြင်း စသည့်ခေါင်းစဉ် (၃) ခုဖြင့် အဓိကဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ရာ ဝူဟန်မြို့မြို့တော်ဝန်၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ရန်ကုန်မြို့တော်ဝန်၊ အင်္ဂလန်နိုင်ငံ မန်ချက်စတာမြို့တော်ဝန်၊ ဖန်လန်နိုင်ငံ Kemi မြို့ကောင်စီဥက္ကဋ္ဌ၊ တောင်အာဖရိက Cape Town မြို့တော်မန်နေဂျာ၊ ပိုလန်နိုင်ငံ Rzeszów မြို့တော်ဝန်နှင့် ကာဇက်စတန်နိုင်ငံ Turkistan မြို့တော်ဝန်တို့မှ အသီးသီးပါဝင်၍ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ထို့နောက် ယင်းနေ့တွင် ကျင်းပသည့် ညီအစ်မမြို့တော်ဆက်ဆံရေး နှစ်ပတ်လည် အထိမ်းအမှတ် အခမ်းအနား၌ ရန်ကုန်မြို့တော်ဝန် ဦးမျိုးမြင့်အောင်နှင့် ဝူဟန်မြို့တော်ဝန် မစ္စတာ Xiong Zheng Yu တို့သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၊ ရန်ကုန်မြို့နှင့် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၊ ဟူပေပြည်နယ်၊ ဝူဟန်မြို့တို့အကြား ညီအစ်မမြို့တော်ဆက်ဆံရေး ထူထောင်သည့် သဘောတူညီချက် (Letter of Intent)ကို လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် ဝူဟန်မြို့နှင့် ကာဇက်စတန်နိုင်ငံ Turkistan ဒေသ Turkistan မြို့၊ နယူးဇီလန်နိုင်ငံ Christchurch မြို့၊ ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံ Markham မြို့၊ မက္ကဆီကို နိုင်ငံ Tijuana မြို့၊ ဝူဟန်မြို့ Dongxihu ခရိုင်နှင့် ဆီနီဂေါနိုင်ငံ Thiès ဒေသ Mbour မြို့၊ ဝူဟန်မြို့ Wuchang ခရိုင်နှင့် ဟန်ဂေရီနိုင်ငံ Keszthely မြို့၊ ဝူဟန်မြို့ Qiaokou ခရိုင်နှင့် ဟန်ဂေရီနိုင်ငံ Gyenesdiás မြို့တို့အကြား နိုင်ငံတကာ ချစ်ကြည်ရေးမြို့များ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးနှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း သည့် နားလည်မှုစာချွန်လွှာများကို သက်ဆိုင်ရာကိုယ်စားလှယ်များက အသီးသီးပါဝင်လက်မှတ်ရေးထိုးခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Myanmar Consul General Attends the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue – Wuhan, the 2026 Wuhan International Friendship Cities Cooperation Conference, and the Signing Ceremony of the Letter of Intent Establishing Sister-City Relations between Yangon and Wuhan

Consul General U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin of the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chongqing, together with the delegation led by Mayor of Yangon U Myo Myint Aung, attended the 2026 Wuhan International Friendship Cities Cooperation Conference, the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue – Wuhan, and the Signing Ceremony of the Letter of Intent Establishing Sister-City Relations between Yangon, Myanmar, and Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, held in Wuhan, Hubei Province, the People’s Republic of China, on 20 September 2026.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, Mr. Sheng Yuechun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Hubei Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee; Mr. Shaukat Ali, Mayor of Manchester, United Kingdom; Mr. Jordi Vaquer, Secretary-General of the World Association of the Major Metropolises (Metropolis); and Ms. Bernadia Irawati Tjandradewi, Secretary-General of United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC), delivered opening remarks.
At the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue, held in conjunction with the conference, discussions focused on three themes: “Elevating Urban Development through Technological Innovation,” “Expanding Urban Openness through Industrial Collaboration,” and “ Enhancing Quality of Life through Cultural Exchanges.” Mayors and senior city representatives from Wuhan, Yangon, Manchester, Kemi (Finland), Cape Town (South Africa), Rzeszów (Poland), and Turkistan (Kazakhstan) participated in the discussions and exchanged views on the respective themes.
Later that day, at the Anniversary Commemoration of Sister-City Relations, Yangon Mayor U Myo Myint Aung and Mr. Xiong Zheng Yu, Mayor of Wuhan, signed the Letter of Intent on Establishing Sister-City Relations between Yangon, Myanmar, and Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Subsequently, representatives of Wuhan and their respective counterparts from Turkistan, Kazakhstan; Christchurch, New Zealand; Markham, Canada; and Tijuana, Mexico, as well as representatives of Wuhan’s Dongxihu District and Mbour, Thiès Region, Senegal; Wuchang District and Keszthely, Hungary; and Qiaokou District and Gyenesdiás, Hungary, respectively signed Memoranda of Understanding on International Friendship Cities Cooperation, aimed at further promoting friendly exchanges and cooperation between the participating cities and districts.
