ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီးချုပ်နှင့် နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးသန်းဆွေက ကုလသမဂ္ဂ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာနှင့် အရေးပေါ် ကယ်ဆယ်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ ညှိနှိုင်းရေးမှူး၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂလူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ ညှိနှိုင်းရေးရုံး (UNOCHA) ၏ အကြီးအကဲဖြစ်သူ Under-Secretary-General Mr. Tom Fletcher ဦးဆောင်သည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့အား ၆-၄-၂၀၂၅ ရက်၊ ၁၀၀၀ နာရီတွင် နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ နေပြည်တော်၌ လက်ခံတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့သည်။
ထိုသို့ တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် Mr. Tom Fletcher က ငလျင်ဘေးသင့်ပြည်သူများအား ကူညီရန် အတွက် နိုင်ငံတကာမှ ယခုအချိန်အထိ လှူဒါန်းရန် ကတိပြုငွေ အမေရိကန် ဒေါ်လာ ၉၃ သန်း ရရှိထားပါကြောင်း၊ ကုလသမဂ္ဂ၏ အရေးပေါ်ရန်ပုံငွေမှ အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၅ သန်းအား အသုံးပြုသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်းနှင့် ယင်းတို့ကို အသုံးပြု၍ အကူအညီပေးရေး လုပ်ငန်းများကို အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ရန်အတွက် ကုလသမဂ္ဂဝန်ထမ်းများကို စေလွှတ် သွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
ထို့ပြင် ၂၈-၃-၂၀၂၅ ရက်တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ လှုပ်ခတ်ခဲ့သည့် အင်အားပြင်း ငလျင်ဒဏ်ကြောင့် ပျက်စီးဆုံးရှုံးမှုများအပေါ် တုံ့ပြန်ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရေး၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂအကြား ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုမြှင့်တင်ရေးတို့နှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း၍ နှစ်ဖက် အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။
တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီးများ၊ အဆင့်မြင့် အရာရှိကြီးများ၊ ရန်ကုန်မြို့ရှိ ကုလသမဂ္ဂယာယီဌာနေညှိနှိုင်းရေးမှူး၊ လူသားချင်းစာနာမှု ဆိုင်ရာ ယာယီညှိနှိုင်းရေးမှူးနှင့် ရန်ကုန်မြို့အခြေစိုက် UNOCHA ရုံး၏ အကြီးအကဲတို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြသည်။
တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးမှုအပြီးတွင် နှစ်ဖက်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များသည် ငလျင်ဒဏ်ကြောင့် အသက်အိုးအိမ်စည်းစိမ်ပျက်စီးဆုံးရှုံးရမှုများအတွက် ဝမ်းနည်းကြောင်းအထိမ်းအမှတ် အဖြစ် ၁ မိနစ် ငြိမ်သက်ခဲ့ကြကြောင်းသိရှိရပါသည်။

U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received a delegation led by Mr. Tom Fletcher, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator-the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) at 1000 hrs on 6 April 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, Mr. Tom Fletcher informed that international communities have pledged US$ 93 million as donation and UN Central Emergency Relief Fund has allocated US$ 5 million to the people affected by the earthquake in Myanmar. By utilizing those funds, UN will send more staff for on-ground implementation.
Furthermore, they exchanged views on matters related to the UN response to losses and destructions due to the devastating earthquake in Myanmar that struck on 28 March 2025, and enhancing the cooperation between Myanmar and the UN.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Ministers and Senior Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim, and Head of UNOCHA in Myanmar.
After the meeting, all the delegates observed a one-minute silence for the losses of lives and properties caused by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.
